“I always emphasize to establish a story in my documentary and corporate videos.” – Gautam Bose Gautam Bose is an Indian filmmaker and writer who predominantly work in the development communication sector. In 1993, he formed ‘Tellywallah’, a company where a television programme Chitra used to run under his supervision. This program ran on a Sunday prime-time slot for 26 weeks. In his three decades of professional career, he has been making documentaries, corporate videos, and educational and instructional videos for last three decades. With his small team, he made documentaries and training videos for USAID, Trickle UP, LSE, BELA, GATW, on different social issues like livelihood, environment, migration, domestic violence, mental disorder and others. He produced ten corporate videos for the Bangladeshi business group Gemcon Pvt. Limited. His documentary Come With Me was widely screened in India, Dhaka and Lisbon and won some prestigious awards. Gautam Bose has experienced of shooting documentaries for international platform like, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, National Geography, Discovery, Channel 4, and BBC. He shot and directed three videos on the restoration work on Danish structure in Serampore that was funded by the National Museum of Denmark.
